Change God's Mind?

Q:  If God knows what is going to happen in the future, why should we pray for people who are sick or dying? Are we going to change his mind?

A:  If you believe that it is fixed by God regardless of our faith then there is no need to pray, but if you believe that we have free will (there is evidence in Scripture to suggest that God has changed His plans based on our prayers) then prayer is working our faith out with God and His faithfulness toward us.
